
UAS 1000 – Drone Flight Operations & FAA Part 107 Certification
Subject Description:
This introductory course provides students with the knowledge and flight experience necessary to operate small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) safely and legally under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 regulations. Students receive structured instruction in airspace classification, flight planning, weather interpretation, and operational safety while preparing to pass the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam. Hands-on flight labs reinforce classroom learning with real-world mission applications.
Program Length: 4 Weeks
Total Clock Hours: 32 Clock Hours
Delivery Format: Hybrid – 1 Online Class and 1 In-Person Flight Lab per week (All sessions available online for remote attendance)
