Subject Description:
This course introduces students to the use of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) in airport environments, focusing on operations at Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 airports and general aviation facilities. Students will explore how drone technology supports airport management, inspection, and safety functions. The course also includes FAA Part 107 exam preparation, hands-on flight training, and professional development activities such as resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
